Hey guys! I hated missing a blog post day last Sunday – but it was much needed.
I had to just take a step back and put my blog to semi-rest, as my business was going crazy and I decided to put full focus into that.
I actually just reached my first promotion, within a month only of joining the business, and that is what this blog post is going to be all about.
SO many people have a misconstrued conception of what multi-level marketing is, and so many people think it’s a scam, it’s this, it’s that, etc.. Well I’m here to tell you that the marketing company I’m in is most definitely not a scam, and it is most definitely possible to reach success and promotions within multi-level marketing companies.
What exactly do I do within the business and company I work with?
I’m a distributor for Juice Plus, and I promote nutritional products, as well as grow and expand my team! I started around the 2nd week of June and just reached my first promotion this past week, so within a month of doing this business, I managed to accumulate enough points of sales to acquire a promotion and get a bonus, which was pretty nice.
How’d I do it, and was it worth it?
1. Consistency, consistency, consistency.. literally, consistency is EVERYTHING.
With anything in life, you should be consistent right? If you’re on & off with the gym, with eating habits, with blogging, with work, whatever it is, you ain’t getting nowhere.
It BLOWS my mind when people will sign up for this business and join my team, and then quit within a day.. I’m like, how? You didn’t get it a shot, you didn’t even give it a month, what do you lose?
Back to my point, I stuck to a daily routine that revolved around social media really, which is my strong suit. I consistently posted on all my accounts, I consistently messaged and followed new people day in and day out, surely within time, I gained customers and team members as well from that.
2. Follow Ups Are Key
In this business, not everyone will reply right away or say yes right away, in fact, most of the customers and team members I have don’t say yes right away, I get a yes once I’ve followed up.
It’s so important to be attentive and to keep track of who you are reaching out to.
3. Build repoir & relationship.
That cheesy quote you hear, “people don’t buy the product, they buy you”, yeah that is entirely 100% true. People buy the experience you give them when they’re chatting with you! I wouldn’t have gotten promoted if I was just sending out robotic scripted messages, and not really connecting with the person behind the screen, I guarantee it!
4. I kept going day in & day out.
If I had a bad day, no interest from anybody, all it did was make me hustle harder the next day. That’s how you have to be in this business, because if you let the bad days get you down, you are gonna quit.
I took it as motivation to be better, and then all my sales and team members came at once, it was like an explosion of all my hard work paying off!
Entirely worth it, so worth it. My team is amazing, the girls I work with are the most hustling and most driven women evvverrr, and they drive me to be better every single day! I’ve met so many amazing people through all the connections I’ve made the past month, and I’ve helped people, that’s the best part! The best best part is getting positive feedback from a client of mine who says that my recommendations or what I’ve done for them has made a difference in their lives.
Most of all, it’s so worth it because I’m able to combine the 2 things I love most; social media and fitness/healthy living. I was able to intertwine the 2 passions with this job, and I’m able to continue learning new social media tactics as I network with new people.
Most people who enter multi-level marketing do not get a promotion right away, in fact, they quit usually within a week or shorter, but I genuinely did not reach this promotion by hard labor or hard long hours.. I sat on my phone on social media talking to people, how hard is that job? Seriously? I just remained consistent is all.
I didn’t give up, I stayed consistent, and I was open to the opportunity this job had to offer, now I’m more motivated than ever to continue expanding my phenomenal team I’ve grown, and to just go full-force with it all!
I’m a bit everywhere at the moment, but that’s okay, because I like a challenge, and I’m going to try to implement a lot of the new strategies I learn from this business and share it on this platform for you guys! 🙂
